Butterfly Alley

The woodlands are teaming with beautiful butterflies  right now, here are some I spotted today on a walk. Below are the Peacocks and the Red Admirals, two very striking British butterflies. There must have been over a hundred of them along this short path alone. I call it Butterfly Alley as this was where I first noticed them appearing last year and again this year. How about your area? Have you spotted any butterflies lately and do you recognise them? It would be interesting to learn of butterflies and their native locations around the world so feel free to share in the comments:)
